How many of you use Orkut?
Well, that’s a rubbish question to ask 
Everyone use orkut (if not, then you may be using other social networking sites). So, while logging into orkut from your own pc or somewhere else, you might have encountered the “Orkut is banned” pop-up window. If not… then have a look below
This was the most common virus found everywhere in … this simply doesn’t allow you to log in to your orkut account. The similar version of virus was found for youtube also. Which prohibits you from visiting the YouTube website? So, here’s the solution to your problem. How to Fix the “Orkut is Banned” Virus.
Follow these simple steps:
1. Press ctrl+alt+del to invoke the ‘Task Manager’ and go to the processes tab.
2. Look for svchost.exe under the image name. You will find many processes with the same name but you have to find only those which have your username under the username.
3. End these processes. It will give you a warning, just press Yes
4. Repeat the same procedure for all svchost.exe files with your username. Do not kill svchost.exe with system, local or network service…
5. Now open My Computer and in the address bar, type C:\heap41a and press enter. This folder is hidden.
6. Delete all the files there and go to Start –> Run and type Regedit
7. Go to the menu > Edit > Find
8. Type “heap41a” and press enter. Then delete all the entries in the search result.
9. Now close the registry editor.
Now the virus is removed. But you have to delete the ‘autorun.inf’ file and all the folders with name or extension ‘.exe’ in the flash drive.
