Recently, a new search engine, specially designed/made that is only meant for the muslims. This engine will display only those search results which are valid according to the islamic law i.e the typical Haram Level.

According to the telegraph, Imhalal.com will display only those results which are meant to be legal according to the Islamic law. The creator of the site Reza Sardeha told that the idea of creating this search engine came to his mind after the complaints he got from his friends that, major search engines are full of vulgar stuffs and this thing should be avoided.

So, to solve this problem and maintain the dignity of the Islamic community, he has launched this website.He also said that this is not a sensorship or …. Website but it blocks all the ‘Haram’ stuffs as described by the Islamic Law.

The imhalal.com provides religious Muslims with the opportunity to access the internet without searching through content that is considered haram or forbidden,according to Islamic Law.

However, the user may access to the results at the first two levels. The search engine gives a link reading If you still think the results will be clean click me!. Clicking on the link allows the user to proceed with the search.

Search terms of the third levels will be directed to a note tempting the users to change the key word.

According to many, this search engine is a good thing but for others, it is not much efficient because it filters the results according to the keywords used for the searching. And it may block those pages or links that might contain a blocked keyword but doesnot contain the matter which is vulgar or anything mature.
