Finally, central government is worried of the rapidly growing market of the Chinese mobile phones and telecom devices in the telecom sector.
There were lots of queries, doubts and insecurity about the working and mechanism of these phones. So, now the central govt. has awaken and has given directions to Indian telecom companies that they should completely abandon/prohibit these Chinese mobile companies in the nearby sensitive border areas.

Chinese Mobiles
Chinese devices are so popular in our country, because of the following reasons :-
- Cheap
- Attractive looks
- Several features including all the features of an expensive mobile.
- Multi-functions (much more than a phone)
- Dual sim support
The telecom meeting held on Thursday, 27 August 2009 with the authorities of telecom industry and representatives in which telecom secretary Siddharth Behura suggested Indian companies to not to rely on the Chinese companies, so that there should be no doubt related to national Security. And sensitive and crucial information are safe.
In the meeting, it was directed to the Indian companies to suggest few options/ways to solve this problem. Chinese companies should me kept away from the border areas of the country. Chinese companies have been accused many times of capturing some of the Indian networks.
It has been also suspected that many times these have transmitted some of Indian information to China.
Taking Central Home Ministry’s worries under consideration, telecom state minister Sachin Pilot told Indian Telecom Sector to do something regarding the rapidly increasing market of the Chinese Company.
China’s Interference :: ZTE and Huwai are the Chinese companies working with Indian companies are well reputed and used in our country. They are also working with the BSNL. The BSNL high speed data card EVDO is of ZTE and the NIC card is of the Huwai Company. And being recently launched are becoming popular in the Indian Internet World …
Altogether, Indian companies should find out their own and safe way to grow their Market but not rely on the Chinese or any other companies. Our sensitive information if reaches other countries could prove out to be very dangerous for our national security.
